Little Simz Teases ‘Lotus’ Release, Unveils First Single ‘Flood’

Little Simz has kicked off 2025 with Flood, her first new track of the year, featuring Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly. The Salomon Ligthelm-directed music video teases what’s ahead for her sixth album, Lotus, due May 9 via AWAL. It marks her first full-length release since 2022’s No Thank You.

In 2024, she surprised fans with her Drop 7 EP, dropped the single Hello, Hi, and collaborated with Coldplay, Sampha, and Wretch 32. She also lit up Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage last June, her largest set yet. She is also nominated at the 2025 BRITs, aiming to add another trophy to her shelf following her 2022 Best New Artist win.
