Singer and dancer JoJo Siwa recently announced on Instagram that the performance of the song Step in Time, in which she danced in the TV special Dick Van Dyke 98 Years of Magic (2023), has been nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography for Variety or Reality Programming.
The show, created to celebrate actor Dick Van Dyke’s’s 98th birthday, has been nominated for a total of four Emmy Awards. Step in Time is a song from the movie Mary Poppins, accompanied by the dance of Dick Van Dyke and Julie Andrews. The entire performance has become legendary and is often re-enacted by other artists.
