Paramount Plus previously released a synopsis describing the story as follows:
“The series follows Martian (Fassbender), a covert CIA agent who is ordered to leave his undercover life behind and return to London Station. When the love he once left resurfaces, their romance is reignited.”
From the trailer, it’s clear that Jodie Turner-Smith plays Martian’s ex, whom he presumably dated during his undercover operation.
Additionally, it’s evident that Fassbender’s character is tasked with chasing a dangerous CIA agent who has gone missing. As Martian describes in the trailer, the mission requires someone “insane” to complete it.
