This is by far the most bizarre endorsement we’ve seen in a presidential election. A stand-up comedy act at a rally?! Here’s what landed rising star comedian Tony Hinchcliffe in serious hot water.

On Sunday, millions of Americans were introduced to Tony Hinchcliffe, a Texas comedian who took the stage at Trump’s presidential gala at Madison Square Garden.

Known for his edgy stand-up, Hinchcliffe made headlines with a racially charged punchline, referring to Puerto Rico as “a floating island of garbage.”

The backlash was swift, prompting even the Trump campaign to distance itself from his remarks.

Hinchcliffe also threw in a joke suggesting that Black people carve watermelons for Halloween instead of pumpkins.

The audience was not receptive to his jokes for the most part. Ironically, the set felt a lot like watching someone bomb on his own show, Kill Tony.

Tony Hinchcliffe, along with fellow comedian Joe Rogan, has been open in his support for Trump’s candidacy. However, Hinchcliffe’s comments at the rally have only made Trump’s reelection efforts more challenging.
