Based on Yu’s novel of the same name, the series follows Willis Wu, who longs to break free from Chinatown. His life takes a turn when he witnesses a crime and gets recruited by a seasoned detective.
The cast includes Jimmy O. Yang, Ronny Chieng, Chloe Bennet, Lisa Gilroy, Sullivan Jones, Archie Kao, and Diana Lin. Waititi is directing the pilot, with 20th Television handling the production.
