Ella Balinska Leads 'The Occupant' with New Teaser Trailer Out Now
The first teaser trailer for ‘The Occupant’, starring Ella Balinska, has just debuted.
Ella Balinska stars in the upcoming sci-fi thriller The Occupant, and the film’s first teaser trailer has just been released. The movie is set for digital release on September 1, 2025.
In The Occupant, Balinska plays Abby, a woman who takes a risky job at a uranium mine in Northern Georgia to pay for her sister Beth’s experimental cancer treatment. While working, Abby discovers a mysterious mineral that could hold major value.
Her journey home takes a turn when her helicopter crashes in the remote mountains, leaving her stranded. Abby connects via radio with John, an American pilot nearby, played by 
Rob Delaney. As their conversations continue, Abby discovers unsettling truths about John.
Director Hugo Keijzer says, “At its core, this is the story of a young person’s journey toward accepting the inevitable death of her sister, whom she loves more than anything in her life.” The script was written by Philip Michael Howe, Roelof Jan Minneboo, Xiao Tang, and Hugo Keijzer. The cast also features
