Country Singer Gavin Adcock Announces New Track Amid Beyoncé Controversy
Possibly the best marketing stunt of the year—Gavin Adcock is riding the Beyoncé wave to boost his streaming numbers.
With all the hype and hate circulating around 
Gavin Adcock, the country ambassador wants to prove what country music really is.
Last week, Adcock posted on his socials:
“There are only three people in front of me on the Apple Music country charts, and one of ’em is Beyoncé. You can tell her we’re coming for her fcking ass. That sht ain’t country music, and it ain’t ever been country music, and it will never be country music.”
Funny enough, Adcock admitted it was the best streaming week for his music—despite hundreds of hate comments flooding his socials.
Not long after, he posted:
“Well, I was dreaming last night and was thinking about all the people that don’t know what real country music sounds like. So Imma drop y’all a new one on Friday…”
Master of marketing? A true country hero? Call him whatever—but he found a way to boost his visibility to a whole new level.
