Connor Swindells is Unrecognizable in Latest 'William Tell' Trailer!
Connor Swindells stars as the menacing Gessler in ‘William Tell.’ With the trailer out, the epic tale is set for a January release!
After months of waiting, we finally get to see 
Connor Swindells as Gessler in the epic drama William Tell! The first trailer for the movie was just released, and let’s just say Connor looks menacing in it.
William Tell premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival this September and is set for release in the UK on January 10, 2025. It’s based on Friedrich Schiller’s 1804 play, which follows Swiss marksman William Tell as he defends his family and Switzerland from the Austrian king’s attack.
In this movie, Swindells plays the role of Gessler, the Habsburg bailiff whose brutal rule leads to the William Tell rebellion. 
Claes Bang stars as William Tell, while 
Golshifteh Farahani, 
Jonah Hauer-King, and 
Ellie Bamber portray Suna, Rudenz, and Bertha, respectively. The movie also features 
Rafe Spall, 
Emily Beecham, 
Jonathan Pryce, and the legendary 
Ben Kingsley in undisclosed roles.
Swindells is currently busy filming Jingle Bell Heist with 
Olivia Holt and the drama series Lockerbie, about the deadliest terrorist attack in UK history.
