Bailey Zimmerman’s 'Backup Plan' Turns Into Luke Combs’ Big Chart Win

Combs may be the country vet, but Zimmerman’s ‘Backup Plan’ just helped him land his 10th digital chart-topper and 40th top 10.

Zimmerman also benefits from the collab, earning his fourth chart-topper, following his recent hit All the Way.

Combs’ success on this chart dates back to his first No. 1, Beautiful Crazy, in 2018, with later hits like Beer Never Broke My Heart and his viral Tracy Chapman cover, Fast Car. With 40 of his 48 charting singles reaching the top 10, Combs remains one of country’s most reliable hitmakers.

Backup Plan also made waves beyond country, debuting at No. 6 on Billboard’s all-genre Digital Song Sales chart and No. 36 on the Hot 100.
