Ariana DeBose Faces Golden Razzie Nomination for Two Disastrous Films
Ariana DeBose lands a Golden Raspberry nomination for Worst Supporting Actress with two poorly received films.
Not every movie is received as its creators expect. In the latest Golden Raspberry Awards nominations, American actress Ariana DeBose was listed as a nominee for Worst Supporting Actress!
And it’s not just one movie associated with her name. She received the nomination for the critically panned and box-office bomb, Argylle, a spy comedy that serves as a spin-off to the Kingsman franchise.
The other movie on the list with her name is Kraven the Hunter, which, like Argylle, performed poorly both with critics and at the box office.
Other actresses nominated for the award include Lesley-Anne Down for her role in Reagan, Emma Roberts for Madame Web, Amy Schumer for Unfrosted, and FKA Twigs for The Crow.
While some actors take the Golden Raspberries in stride, others take them a little too seriously. It’s understandable, though, since who would want to win such an award? Let’s hope Ariana doesn’t take home the trophy and that her reputation remains intact.
