The new is a well-forgotten past. This is the approach Thames takes when designing their apparel. Bold, nostalgic, and yet forward-thinking. The British brand releases another collection of highly sought-after items, one of which is the return of the sensational “Nikita” hat.

Thames is run by renowned British street skateboarder and artist Blondey. Just like his skating style—bold, unpredictable, and artistic—he has successfully channeled that energy into his clothing brand, Thames.

Blending British classicism with skate culture, this brand is currently reshaping the connection between urban fashion and luxury.

Blondey’s followers eagerly await new drops and quickly sell out the items. The “Nikita” hat is one of those original pieces that people seek out. Notably, the hat was endorsed by well-known fashion figures and artists such as Rocco Ritchie and Corbin Shaw.

The hat is an homage to one of the most iconic Soviet-era clothing items, designed to protect the ears, jaw, and chin from harsh winter weather.

Originally known as  “ushanka”, it first appeared in 1918-1919 during the Russian Civil War. It was introduced as part of the army uniform by Admiral Alexander Kolchak, the White Army commander who ruled in Siberia.

Thames continues to captivate street fashion enthusiasts, consistently updating its collection.
