Aaron Pierre’s viral Spirit Tunnel video on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ had to turn off comments due to inappropriate remarks.

Keen-eyed fans of Mufasa: The Lion King star NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JANUARY 31: Aaron Pierre poses before taking part in a SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversation for "Genius: MLK/X" at SAG-AFTRA Foundation Robin Williams Center on January 31, 2024 in New York City. Michael LoccisanoAaron Pierre were quick to notice something strange about his Spirit Tunnel video, which was uploaded to The Jennifer Hudson Show’s Instagram and TikTok following his visit to the show. It’s the only post where the comments are turned off!

The post quickly went viral, amassing 20 million views on TikTok and 1.5 million likes on Instagram, with comments flooding in from his many admirers. However, it seems that not all the comments were entirely appropriate.

The comment section was filled with thirsty remarks about Pierre, and it seems things got so out of hand that the comment sections on both sites had to be completely turned off.

The Spirit Tunnel is a tradition on Jennifer Hudson’s talk show, where the staff forms two lines and welcomes the celebrity guest with chants as they make their way to the stage. Aaron Pierre was quick to react to the tradition, busting out some moves to the chant “Aaron Pierre, that’s Mufasa!” with a huge smile on his face. He humbly thanked everyone and blew an air kiss to the chanting group.

No one could have expected the comment section to become so wild that it would have to be turned off. Pierre himself hasn’t commented on the situation yet. Watch the interview that followed below.
