Until they Performed together on Stage, Jelly Roll Thought the Duet with Eminem was a Joke
Jelly Roll was as excited as a little child about the duet with Eminem.
Country singer Jelly Roll (born 1984), known for his singles “Need a Favor” (2023) and “Son of a Sinner” (2021), and a Grammy Award winner, performed with rapper Eminem (born 1972), who is famous for songs like “The Real Slim Shady” (2000) and “Lose Yourself” (2002), last weekend. They sang “Sing for the Moment” (2003) together during a concert at Michigan Central in Detroit.
According to Rolling Stone, Jelly Roll initially thought the offer to perform together was a joke, even though it was mentioned by his friend, Eminem’s manager. Now, he is thrilled and considers the event one of the highlights of his career.
From Detroit, Jelly Roll traveled to Nashville, where he participated in CMA Fest as a host and performer.
