The Game "Palworld" is Successful, but it Also Faces Challenges
Impressive sales and the current player count of the game “Palworld” have exceeded expectations but have also caused problems.
Video game “Palworld”, currently in the early access phase, reached a remarkable milestone by selling over 7 million copies in just five days and reaching a peak of 2,018,905 concurrent players on the Steam platform. However, this unexpected success is accompanied by a set of issues.
The new game created and published by Pocketpair for PC and Xbox consoles is facing strong criticism for its characters closely resembling Pokémon, and for featuring weapon-based combat. Nintendo has now taken action against the modification “Palworld”, where actual Pokémon and armed trainers appeared. The modification has been removed and is currently unavailable. The game "Palworld! has also drawn disapproval from the animal rights organization PETA, which has previously spoken out against combative Pokémon.
