Sitting casually in her living room, the 22-year-old belted out the first verse and chorus, showing off her incredible vocal skills. She captioned the post, “I’m working lateeeee cause I’m a singerrrrr @SabrinaCarpenter adore this song too much,” and honestly, same.
This isn’t Lola’s first time wowing us with her music. She released her debut single, “Paranoia Silverlining,” two years ago, and it’s clear that music runs deep in her veins. Sabrina’s “Espresso,” which dropped on April 11, quickly became a smash hit, shooting up to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reigning the U.K. Official Singles Chart for three weeks. That infectious “me espresso” lyric, which Lola nailed in her caption, has become a total fan favorite. Plus, Sabrina brought the house down performing it at Coachella and on SNL.
