During a laid-back chat on the “Happy, Sad, Confused” podcast, Henry Cavill, alongside “Argylle” director Matthew Vaughn, peeled back the curtain on one of film and TV’s more titillating aspects: sex scenes.
Cavill, our beloved Superman and the rugged heartthrob from “The Witcher,” made it clear he’s not exactly a fan of getting down and dirty on screen. “'Is this really necessary or is it just people with less clothing on?” It’s not all prudishness, though; Cavill conceded that, when done right, these moments can add depth to a story. Yet, he can’t help but feel that leaving a bit to the imagination could sometimes serve the industry better.
