Benga Takes a Raincheck on US Tour, Sets Eyes on Coachella Comeback with Skream
Visa issues have put Benga’s US tour with Skream on hold, but the British dubstep duo sets their sights on a grand Coachella comeback in 2025.
British dubstep producer Benga has hit a snag on his much-anticipated US tour with fellow pioneer Skream. With a heavy heart, he announced on Instagram that due to visa complications, he won’t be gracing the stage for the upcoming Skream & Benga tour dates in America, including his scheduled performance at the Coachella Festival.
While Skream will fly solo on the upcoming shows, Benga reassures fans that ‘the OG’s’ are stepping in to fill his shoes, promising a spectacle nonetheless. Fans of the iconic Magnetic Man trio, which includes the duo and Artwork, will feel the absence of Benga’s energy but can look forward to future performances.
The silver lining? Benga teases a triumphant return to Coachella with Skream in 2025, stirring excitement and anticipation. With Skream having already set Coachella alight in 2022, the duo’s future appearance promises to be a reunion worth waiting for. Until then, Benga’s message is clear: “Thanks for sticking with me through this.” And stick we shall.
