The tents you can find in the Coachella grounds in the Colorado Desert are named after deserts.

The Coachella music festival will take place over two consecutive weekends on April 12th - 14th and April 19th - 21st.

Visitors to the approximately 642-acre site (with a significant portion dedicated to parking and camping) in the Coachella Valley can look forward to musicians performing on the Coachella Stage (the main stage) and the smaller Outdoor Theatre. Of course, they can also visit the large tent called Sahara (where electronic dance music is played). Slightly smaller tents than Sahara are Mojave and Gobi (where various performances take place). The smallest tents that people can visit at Coachella are Yuma (where emerging disc jockeys perform) and Sonora (which features punk rock and Latin American music).

In the Coachella grounds, however, there’s much more to enjoy - such as a Ferris wheel, beer barn, bars, and other great spots. So, if you head to this legendary festival, you really have a lot to look forward to!
