A New star Belonging to Rapper Dr. Dre Illuminated the Walk of Fame
Famous rappers attended the ceremonial ceremony where Dr. Dre received his star on the Walk of Fame.
On Tuesday, March 19th, a ceremonial ceremony took place in Hollywood, during which a new star was unveiled on the Walk of Fame belonging to 59-year-old rapper and producer Dr. Dre (real name Andre Young). As reported by People, the event began with speeches from Jimmy Iovine and Young’s friend, rapper Snoop Dogg (Cordozar Calvin Broadus), with rappers Eminem (Marshall Bruce Mathers III) and 50 Cent (Curtis James Jackson) listening alongside them.
Snoop Dogg, in his speech, referred to Dr. Dre as his teacher, friend, and brother, among other things. In honor of Dr. Dre, he also rapped, calling him his “brother from another mother”. He also thanked him for always pushing him to deliver his best performance in the studio. According to Snoop Dogg, aspiring artists should wish to meet Dr. Dre. All the rappers then posed for photos together.
