A group of 35 Hollywood personalities, including Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, and Bradley Cooper, led by director Jason Reitman, has acquired the 93-year-old Westwood Village Theater in Los Angeles.
When the theater was put up for sale, Reitman immediately responded and reached out to his colleagues. The group’s goal is to preserve the architecturally valuable building and transform it into a cultural venue for premieres of new films and screenings of classic movies. The members of the group also plan to exhibit items from their personal collections at the venue.
