Krystyna Pyszková, a young woman born in the Czech town of Třinec and raised in Prague, has won the Miss World title. This makes her the second Czech woman to be chosen as Miss World after Taťána Kuchařová, who achieved this in 2006.
Pyszková’s journey to this significant moment began two years ago when she won the Miss Czech Republic title on May 7, 2022. Her victory at the Miss World contest, held in Mumbai, India, was preceded by a competition involving 112 women from around the world. Other awardees were representatives from Lebanon, Trinidad and Tobago, and Botswana. The contest organizers announced Pyszková’s victory on the internet.
