The ninth annual Latin American Music Awards, which took place on April 25th at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, have announced their winners. Colombian singer Karol G was named Artist of the Year, while the New
Artist of the Year award went to Puerto Rican rapper María Victoria Ramírez de Arellano Cardona, performing under the stage name Young Miko. The Song of the Year was “TQG,” performed by Karol G and Shakira, with Karol G also taking home the Album of the Year award for her “Mañana Será Bonito.”
Among many other awarded during the gala evening, we can mention singers Yandel and Feid (Collaboration of the year for the reggaeton song “Yandel 150”), Dj Marshmello (Best crossover artist), Feid (Streaming artist of the year), and the Mexican group RBD, whose “Soy Rebelde Tour” was announced as Tour of the year.
